Back Story

Axel hatched in the Prismatic Jungle and was raised by only his mother, an irresponsible hydreigon who’s time was mostly spent hunting for food or flirting with other adult dragons she came across while doing so, as a result, Axel was left with a great deal of time to kill. He enjoyed exploring the jungle and he learned a lot from the pokémon he met, although most were hostile. Eventually, he was able to fend for himself and find his own food, so he left the area he called home and traveled farther than he’d ever dared before. One day he encountered a tropius that was being attacked by a gang of dragons, Axel intervened and saved her.

Personality

Contrary to stereotypes, Axel is generally a kind and accepting pokémon, but he does have moments when his temper gets the best of him. These moments usually come to be when something cherished is endangered (and to keep this from happening, he protects said things like a…well…dragon). After his rough life growing up in the jungle, Axel can best nearly any opponent with ease; as a result, he has become a bit too arrogant for his own good. He is also too proud to admit that he is blind. He doesn’t take kindly to orders, and he disagrees with most kinds of management because of the substantial amount of time he spent without anything of the sort. He dabbles in "writing" lyrics in his free time.

Back Story

Piper hatched in Tao Village to a pair of Rogues who called themselves Team Quicksilver. She grew and learned from them, but was frustrated that they would not allow her to accompany them on their missions. One day (prior to Arc 2), she ran (or flew) away from home and ended up in the Prismatic Jungle where she was surprised to find how tough the various predators that lived there were. One incident in particular was especially hard for her to overcome until a deino appeared out of nowhere and saved her.

Personality

After Piper’s humbling experience in the jungle, she is no longer entirely her old self; running head on into danger without a second thought. She still enjoys the adrenalin that comes with danger, but she is now more wary when it comes to adventuring. She is still quite young and naïve when it comes to the world, and she rejects the advice and guidance of adults, trusting Axel more than anyone and reveling in his punk philosophy.

History

Prior to Event 6

The two became fast friends and later a couple. They grew stronger together in the jungle, fighting off unfriendly pokémon that they came across, but one day they both agreed to leave the inhospitable jungle and find somewhere new to live. After searching for a few days, they ended up in a city that Piper found vaguely familiar, and the pair decided to rent a room in the tenements there.
